THANK YOU to all of you who have followed my blog over the past six months. If you missed my earlier announcement, this will be my final daily cartoon posting for awhile as other commitments now require my attention (nothing harsh or unpleasant I assure you… I’ve just become extremely busy).  I will attempt to publish more as time permits but I just won’t be able to on a daily basis.

Since I started this cartoon blog back on January 19, 2015, I’ve published every single day (sometimes more often) accumulating a total of 230 postings in all. Although I didn’t count, there are about 250 cartoons published in all … LOL, but whose counting!  It’s been a pleasure sharing my sketches and cartoons with you and especially rewarding for me when you responded with ‘likes’  or a friendly message.  I appreciated your kindnesses and enjoyed speaking with you all.

Thank you all for your support.  It has been a pleasure.

In Celebration of the All-Star Game

Last night, Major League Baseball celebrated their sport with the 86th Midsummer Classic … the All-Star Game.  In celebration of the event, I have posted one of the cartoons that I completed as a finished one back in the late fall of 1990.  This was the year that the 61st All-Star game was played.  It is number 029 of 031.  Below is the original sketch from November 03, 1990.

Puppy Love

This was number 28 of 31 finished cartoons that I did.  The original sketch is below from October 28, 1990.

In looking back, I’d say that my two biggest influences on the creation of this cartoon were my two-year old daughter Madeleine and my dog Ginger (the only dog I’ve ever owned).  Take good care of your children and pets … AND MAKE SURE YOU GIVE THEM LOTS OF WATER DAILY … ER AH … KIDS AND PETS BOTH.  GIVE YOUR KIDS AND PETS LOTS OF WATER DAILY!  Now that’s good advice! 🙂
